Well, not literally, but testing today the Nitrite is at 0 and the water is a very pretty blue-not PURPLE
I waited, said a little prayer and yes, we have success. I redid the test along with my old aquarium, all readings match my old aquarium, so I'm going to clean up the new one this afternoon, wait until Friday (which will complete 6 weeks and introduce my fish to their new home as long as the readings are ok). I have had a few plants die, but that's ok, the other ones are growing and looking good. I will certainly post a new pic once the fish have settled in. This has been the longest 6 weeks but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.
