The 4 Stooges

Hi, I'm new to the forum and goldfish keeping.
A week or so ago I won 4 gold fish at a faire, unaware of how much care and space they needed. I'm still getting the hang of it and working on my set up, so don't point out the obvious lack of tank light and filter. >.<; I'm working on that. I moved them from a dinky 3 gal to this 10 gal and have been cleaning uneaten food and poo and doing 50-60% water changes daily. They seem quite happy so far. Note, the sea shells have been removed.
These are the 4 Stooges, Moe ( The dark and white comet that resembles a shark, at least to me he does.) Larry (The orange common) Curly (The orange and white Sarasa comet) and Bob (The Tanco common) Please correct me on the ID's.
Bob has a huge appitite for a little fish and will steal food right out from under Moes nose. Larry and Curly like to hang out and hide together, Moe and Curly like to follow eachother around and they love when I clean the tank and make bubbles.

Thank you.
It's about 3 1/2 inches from the top actually. XD Do they look and seem healthy to you? They've made it past the 1 week mark without a filter with no apparent distress or illness. Eating fine. Especially Bob, he's a little piggy. (I feed em once every other day) So I feel confident they'll live til I can get my hands on a filter hopefully in the next few weeks.

I think so!
They have the dorsal fins up and all fins extended, swimming around pretty actively as well
Only thing is that they sometimes gasp by the surface a little, so a filter would be most useful, but since you're on a lookout for that already I think it'll be fine

Well these videos were from a bit ago, a few days after I put them in the tank, but now they don't gasp at the surface anymore. The second video was actually taken first, so they're out of order. They were doing it pretty bad when I first put them in though. I was actually worried. They're all swimming around picking at the gravel right now. I just fed em and cleaned the poo and uneaten food. (Yes, in that order. lol) Bob's got some guts, he just swam up and gave Moe (Who as you can see in the video is twice his size) a nip on the tail. From what I've seen, Moe seems to be the most active, healthiest fish in the bunch. He's always swimming around some where doing something.

I love him too Dragonii, he's/she (?) Too young to tell lol. It'll be cool to see how Moe looks when he/she gets bigger.
I got a Q...Bob, the smallest one is starting to get a little belly on him. He's a bigger eater than all 4 combined. I think he has a little bit of a Napoleon complex and feels since he's smaller he has to compete with the bigger fish. I'm afraid he'll eat himself sick. Can I seperate him or section him off during feeding so he can go on a little diet? He sorta floats around like a mini blimp. >.<;

Nah. Separating the fish isn't a good idea, unless they're harassing each other (then you should separate the suspect, not the victim).
Since you're taking away uneaten food every time, I'd assume you're overfeeding them as it is. So try feeding them just a few pellets and watch to make sure all of them gets at least one to three per fish, usually a good rule of thumb. The goldfish are swallowing much more air when gulping for flakes than they do when catching a few pellets. Pellets are also a lot easier to control than flakes. If you're taking a bit of flakes and drop those in, suddenly it looks like twice the amount you intended! And overfeeding is another huge problem for the water quality. The flakes would also spread around a lot more than pellets, so it's pretty easy for the goldfish to miss them.
I for one, never feed flakes to my fish (mostly because they're getting pretty big and can't eat the flakes). And every chance I get, I try to pull more people out of the flake-swamp xD

Well see, I get my flakes from walgreens cause it's close since I don't have a car and you can get a big container of Wardleys for $5. I also feed it to my feeder crickets I feed my tarantulas. I'm not sure if my crickets would eat pellets....We don't buy peas cause no one eats em, but I'm gonna try some boiled lettuce and some other greens some time.
