Feeder fish???
«

When I have bought my
Kara
on the fish tank in the pet sore it was written 'feeder fish' - now I am not sure if it is a comet or just a common goldfish. I would be grateful for your comments. The fish on the video is calm due to the fact that it is the time for it to go to bed - that is its normal behaviour at this period of time (~8 PM).
Updating the post: with all the help of other forum dwellers it comes out the fish is a Comet and it is a young lady. SO after a few suggestions I came to name her as Kara

Commons usually have a more compact body and shorter tail fins.
I would identify that as a comet but it could have been a common/comet cross.

Ok, thank you very much for assistance. Now I am having not a common goldfish but a comet who is really quick as a comet. I guess I'll have to look for a bigger tank.

It is a Comet
, very lovely long tail. Also I might see the protruding vent, so Karas may be a girl, lol
Yes Karas IS a girl, I replayed the video, the pectoral fins are rounder, not pointy and the ventral fin has got a stiff ray ( the first one )
KARAS is a lovely Comet Lady

Which means I have to think of another name for her as KARAS is a name for a male... :-)

Actually I thought about Barbariska. As for Karasa, well unfortunately it doesn't sound (at least in Russian) The name implies already male as a gender so basically one cannot say Karasa. :-) But I really want to thank you for your idea which I liked. :-)
