Meet Crystal!

Found this darling at the local Walmart, and was told she'd been there for a week and a half. Surprisingly, she displayed perfect health, as well as unusual coloring. She's 2 inches exactly from nose to the base of her tail, which is long and flowing. I'm assuming the gender is female, because I notice that her vent is rounded and protruding. Enjoy the pictures.

Thanks fantailer...though while at first I thought she might have been one, I'm not positive it's an albino now. Did a bit of research and apparently to be technically an albino the fish has to be colorless in body and the eyes a redish color from the blood showing through. She may have albino fish in her familly tree, though.
Her coloring may change over time, but I personally hope it doesn't. But I'll still love her to death if it does.

Seems to be a normal white metallic fish to me
But white goldfish are so beautiful, really
She's lovely! Hope you'll be more lucky with her finally

Thanks Ron! Wow I got a compliment from the expert photographer!
She's actually pretty easy to photograph considering she stands out so well from the background of the tank. She would look even more striking if I had black gravel.
And thank you, Nossie! I think she does have almost a celestial beauty...she moves so gracefully through the water. Yes, I hope she doesn't flop out of the tank or get eaten by snakes or racoons!
Fortunately she is indoors; not taking any more chances with the wildlife. I also make sure to keep the tank hood on 24/7 when I'm not around. Not going to take any risks with her....already attatched! <3

Very nice, beautifully photographed.
Her color would appear to be a throwback to a Prussian Carp, which she is descended from.
She's a beaut, is that a double tail?

Thank you Fishy Jeff!
Yes, she does have a lovely double tail...clefted all the way down to the base too. She also has both pectoral, pelvic, and anal fins paired as well.
Oops, sorry, I'm bragging again!

Thank you, Dragonii!
Interestingly enough, I've read of people who aren't fond of the color.
Oh well. I guess what matters is I like it.

That is one amazingly gorgeous fish! It looks like she was sculpted out of pearl or moonstone.

There are pretty many people who don't like white goldfish for some reason o.O
I really can't understand why... I think they add a wonderful glow to the tank...

Aw, thanks Nicole for the compliment!
I'll pass that on to Crystal
Yes Nossie, I remember reading an article somewhere in which a person was saying how he thought they were yucky...maybe some people just prefer their goldfish to have vibrant, bold coloring and markings. To each their own.

She pretty! Might end up being a white oranda with yellow cap =) That's what the early colors suggest anyway.
