So this is my new baby, Obi!!!  hes a right fidgety thing, but oh so cute. I think they called him a crown betta, but w/e, hes adorable!! so yea. time to get to know my fisy!

oh yea, hes a hes alright. he was the prettiest of the bunch! and also the fiestiest! only when I brought him home he got all lazy on me lol

Only male bettas carry the wonderful colors and long fins Wink Females are just... brown. More or less xD

Nossie, Females can have color too just not the long fins like the males.  I had a blue and red female that was very pretty.  But some males are mistaken for females because their fins are shorter than usual.

Seen some nice Betta homes, the first one unfortunately shows a goldfish in it.
I love the design of those bowls, ideal for a Betta

Hey Hanna,
This is what I know about neon tetras:
They only grow to be 1 1/2 inches
They can live in water 68-79 degrees.
They prefer soft water and a ph around 6.0
They are a social, community, freshwater fish.
They are shoaling fish and will thrive better in groups Smiley

yes he is. lol this morning he looked at a pellet and im like "Obi... eat your food." and he just stared at it so I'm like "imma count to three, and if that pellet isnt gone, you're in big trouble mister!" so he stareed at me and circled the pellet, so i started counting "1...2..." and then he ate it lol
