Congratulations to you both! These goldies are beautiful Minde! Got yourself a couple of sweet Ryukins I see, and is the last one a Ranchu mix with comet? Very cute babies  Grin I was eyeballing these ones too Wink

Aimee I had a chance to look at the auction a few days ago and stopped in amazement when the last 2 you posted that you won came on the screen! Are they button eyed goldies? They are absolutely stunning! I fell in love with a few purple and gold orandas that were in that auction. Alas they do not ship to Canada Sad oh well maybe when I visit relatives in Idaho and Ohio I can figure something out  Cheesy

Do they only ship to America? Bugger  Sad It would be so lovely to own fish from there one day.

But congrats to both of you Cheesy Are these going in with the Oranda's? Don't you only currently only own Oranda's Minde? Bar the pond fish or am I am forgetting someone Tongue Ahh I'm so happy for you, I'm glad you had Aimee guiding you along and Ken sounds lovely. Why can't all goldfish owners and sales people be like them?

I can't wait to see photos of them when they get home Smiley

They will be here tomorrow!! YAY!!!
That one, April is an "egg fish"  It has a fantail, cigar shaped body, and no dorsal fin.  I guess it is suppose to be super fast and hardy and great for the pond!  LOL  My husband wanted me to bid on the egg fish for the pond. Wink
The other two are gonna be my babies, in a thirty gallon tank by themselves.  with that cute Mr. Tailer and Jilli, I had to try the Ryukin variety myself! Wink
I've never owned a ryukin before but they say they are clowns. Cheesy
Ken's new facility will be in Michigan!! yay!! Can't wait until he gets settled and I can go visit!!! Smiley

Thanks for compliments guys. Not sure about what a button eye is never heard that title. They were titled as butterfly telescopes. I am so excited can't wait till tomorrow. The black and orange one is my 12 yr old daughters Xmas present she wanted. She doesn't know I won it, told her I lost lol. Will be fun to have her help me unpack them.

I've heard that too...suposedly they are the bad boys of the goldfish varieties.  I'm keeping mine separate from the others in a 30 gallon tank by themselves.  I've heard they are fine with other ryukins but can bully like say a peacefull oranda.   Smiley

I don't know if they can be bullies but will soon find out in a couple of weeks! With Jillyfish being about 8 times smaller than Tailer, it'll be interesting to see how they will behave together. Jilly is super fast zipping from one side of her tank to the other where Tailer being that he is such a pork belly, has to work a bit to turn around. Today he stuck his kissy fish lips to the side of his tank like a suction cup for a second and a nearly choked from laughter. He is a character so I believe you will both enjoy discovering their unique personalities over time. Aimee, your daughter is gonna squeak with delight when she helps you open your new babies and learns of her prezzie ♥ Minde that sounds like a great plan to have them in their own tank. I heard that about them being pushy with orandas too. Good luck to you both Wink

Aimee and Mindemae congrats on your new beautiful fish!.  Wink
I have two Ryukins, Sandee and the other one has no name yet.  Tongue Both are very friendly fish. I haven't seen Sandee bully and nip her tank mates so is the other one.  Smiley

I wonder if the gender of them has anything to do with it?  Maybe males might be more aggressive?
If they're anything like my comet and commons, the females are the bossy ones! Smiley
