I recently purchased this fish from a petstore where he was in a feeder tank. Is Chester a comet goldfish or something else?

The orange areas on chester seem to be metalic while the black aareas are matte. I thought he was just to beautiful to be a feeder fish.

Maybe a comet and shubunkin mix. I don't know if they crossbreed but from all the research that is the only conclusion I could come up with. My sister built a pond in her yard so that is where he will go. I'm sure he will be much happier there with lots of room.
