I think you shoud either call him Sherlock or Thor. Sherlock because he looks intelligent or Thor because he looks big and strong and powerful

I don't know this fish, and I'm usually giving them names that suit their personality or the most distinctive feature. Hmm... call him Beardfacé. I just can't help but interpret this white spot on his chin as beard... or Sergeant Orange! : D

I'm still a fan of the name "Orange Julius" for an orange oranda, because of the color and his little crown.
He also has kind of a "toga" going with that tail.

Awww...thanks guys...
for the nice words and name suggestions for my new fish.
I've decided to go with.........Thor. Thanx, Katarine!
He is such a big beautiful fish and so strong looking so that is why I chose Thor...it just seemed to fit and I looked at him and said "you really do look like a Thor!"
I just hope Thor is a male now! LOL!

hahaha, maybe he wants to surprise you...
Well, keep fingers crossed he is and you'll have sweet little babies soon

Yay! congratulations to Bobbi! Can't be easy spitting out a hundred or so eggs at one time haha (I certainly cannot spit out a hundred or so babies at once, I admire the woman who can hahahah
) I'm hoping Thor is a girl too hahaha
that would be interesting. Of course it wouldn't be the first time thats happened hey, Mindemae? Sonorus goes from boy to girl, Bobbi goes from Bob to Bobbi.. hahahhahaha
