My Oranda Goldfish (called Smoky) can't see

Hi

I've had my black and white oranda goldfish for a couple of years now.  All was fine until recently, the growth (bubbly bit) which they have on their forehead started to grow, its so big now he can't see a thing anymore.  Is this nomal or is there something wrong with him?

It's pretty normal for wen to grow bigger as the oranda ages.  In your case, you will probably have to consider trimming the wen or (bubbly growth bit on its forehead) back a bit so it can see normally again. 

There are no nerve endings in the wen and no bleeding from trimming it.  It's somewhat like people getting a haircut.

My husband did the operation last night on our oranda (Smoky), seems fine, thanks Zay we was getting worried about him.
