Well, my tank ain't that big either d:
Did you ever see those biOrbs? They're round and come in sizes of 8 and 16 gallons. I have an 8 gallon where I keep three small (for now) fantails. But I will do my best to get some bigger home for them later as they will grow! (: Hopefully sometime in summer I'd get a 16 gallon Orb : D They've got awesome filtration in them. And I can't afford anything bigger for now...

Sorry to hear you lost a fish Katarine.
How is your other goldfish, Sonorous? Does it have white spots still? Many of these diseases are very contagious so you have to be very vigilant about examining your fish for physical and behavior changes.

Yep, it's like a ball C: But I think that Sonorus might find it nice if she's already used to living in a bowl of some sort
Depending on how big she is you could choose sizes of those orbs (: (They're rather cheap too with full filtration and bottom substrate included)

Best way to know that is to simply test it d: Then you'll know for sure (:
Bleh, my teacher once got ich to her aquarium (213 gallons) and it killed one of her 15 year-old catfish :C </offtopic>

I'd say a petstore is reputable if you or many others have had many good experiences buying fish or other things from there. But maybe that's yet another definition that's different from person to person d:

I personally have had the best luck with Petsmart. They guarantee their fish for 14 days too.
I just don't have access to any other pet store that would be near me, unless I wanted to pay hundreds of $$$ and have one shipped to me from a breeder. And the nearest Pet Smart is about 1 1/2 hours from me! Now Petco is a different story! Their fish always look sick. I would never buy a fish from there.

I live in Finland, but if you'll ever happen to be in Vaasa, there are two great stores there d:
One has more rare and big fish (aquarium shop) and the second is rather big and has things for all kinds of animals (Vaasa Animal Center). They have really beautiful fish and plants (: </spam>

Does Sonorus have black spots? I thought she was a comet all this time.... if so then she is a shubunkin.
She is a beauty and her colors are so much brighter in this picture.
