New to breeding

Hi all

My blackmoors have just laid eggs on the plants that i have in the tank and i have moved the plants with the eggs on into a net box within the same tank.  I was just wondering if it'll be ok to remove the eggs from the plants or keep them there until they hatch and also how long will it take for them to hatch?

I would leave the eggs there, if you'd try moving them, it's possible you might harm them.
You can't be sure that the eggs have been fertilized though unless you're absolutely sure that one of the fish is a male Wink Still, keep the water well circulated and in good quality! I would test it really often if I were you Smiley

I don't know exactly for how long it takes before the eggs hatch but... i don't think it should take longer than a few days, logically thinking... Tongue

Way way too late, obviously they hatched or they weren't fertilized. But for anyone browsing the thread for urgent help in the future, it can take eggs as quick as 3-4 days, others a week or 10 days, it depends on the breed of the fish and also the temperature of the tank. Add a little warmer water and the eggs will hatch quicker!
