This is my new rescue... she was not looking well at the store but after 2 weeks in a hospital tank Smiley she is full speed.

Thank you I am new at goldfish keeping but I am in love with them..... they seem to have more personality than any other fish I have had. :-)

What a nice stripe she has!  We have a striped male fish- maybe these two are soulmates! Wink
One more question: what are those plants in the background?  The look nice.

Yeah I thought it was interesting also....those are money wart...really hardy plants and grow quick...low/moderate light.

Aww, how cute!
I always pick up unwanted pets, and I went to the fish place and bought a fish for my friend. He has one blue eye, one brown eye and plenty of markings.
Sadly he died the day after, not sure if it was down to stress or a hidden illness though, shame. He was lovely. Looked a bit like this cutie!  Smiley

Precious! So wonderful that you rescued her - I do the same thing. There are a lot of fish out there that need it, sadly!

How is it that you go to the store, & we see these fish that have been neglected & bring them home so they have a chance? I think we all do it, cause we have researched, & know more, & have grown to love these fish, that we can't stand to see them suffering. CRAZY!! We can't help ourselves!! Grin
