Awww.... they are all so cute! I see you have your new baby tri-colored in there too! My baby tank sprung a leak had to put them together till I get new one or get it resealed. Actually buying two new aquariums need another QT tank now that babies in this one. One of my filter was leaking good thing it wasn't the tank.

Thanks to everyone for your help! My husband and I do watch the tempature. I have a 30 gallon tank...but I do use tap water so how should prepare my water?! Good news, I was watching the fish this morning and they saw me coming and swam to the top for good and my orange Orandas was swimming very well...so it may just be resting it happens during the day and night but I will watch closely. I can't wait to see the new Orandas--I'm so happy to be apart of the fish family they are so beautiful

Always add water conditioner (that removes chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals) to the new water you put in the tank. I'm using buckets for now and I'll let the new water sit overnight. P.S. I don't put water conditioner in the buckets while it sits overnight. Only after I finished siphoning the "old water" and when I'm ready to dump the "new water' in the aquarium.

Thank you so much for the water information, this is very helpful. So, silly question, can I use tap water or I should boil the water and let it sit or do I purchase bottle water?? I'm learning so much!
