i have fish with holes in them 1 has died can any one help. they have been in the pond for a year only the goldfish are affected none of the others

please get a picture of this... i have never seen a goldfish get holes in it unless it was attacked by another fish. as to your problem, put any antibacterial remedy into your pond that you can find, and test your water chemistry (pH, nitrites, nitrates, ammonia) it sounds like a severe bacterial infection (then again, i am seeing a goldfish swimming around in a pond with a few pencil thick holes jutting though it) and that the harmful bacteria are eating away at your fish(!) add medications and anti parasite medicines to your tank too-it might be parasites (that sounds rhetorical, but whatever) but just be safe- pictures, however are crucial to solving this...
