Transporting goldfish

Im going to be moving soon and i was just wondering how i should move my fish friends 45 minutes away safely. I know i need to keep some of there water to put back in their tank. Thanks for all your help!

Doesn't matter as much about the water as it does the filter media.  As long as you keep the filter media in a bucket of declor water and put it back in the filter when you set the aquarium back up then that should be fine.  The water doesn't have anything in it that you need, only the bbs are in the media.

When I transported my fish, I kept them in containers with lids. I filled them about 50/50 with tank water, and then everything went fine Smiley Like Bel said, try to keep the filter media safe and moist!
