My little guy has. He is so lovely. I never really liked chichlids either but as you can see his dorsal fin is badly damaged l, the guy at the shop had already given him six months for it to heal and he said if it hadn't in a few more months he would euthanise him. I told him things like that didn't bother me to which he replied if you want him you can have him as it would be a shame as he is a beautiful fish but that no-one would buy him. So he came home with me.  Grin

Unfortunately I lost Ash when I had the camallanus problem. Sad I do have another male cichlid called Derek and I just got a female called Cersei. I also have another rescue which I called Tyrian. He is a platy and has a pronounced kink in his spin just at the tail. The guy in the shop had put him in a tank with room but said as soon as the new order came in there would be no room for him, he is so beautiful and a real character I just had to bring him home with me. I keep him in the 60L with all my Mickey Mouse platy fry as I am worried his deformity is genetic and will pass it on to any fry he would father. I just don't think it would be fair.
