My 110L Fancy Goldfish tank
« on: July 07, 2010, 06:14:56 AM »

As promised, here are some pictures of all 3 of my goldfish in their 110 litre (30 Gallon) tank. It had been previously way overstocked but I took some fish back to the shop and I now just have 3 fancy goldfish in the tank. They already seem much more happy and they have much more space than before as it is far less crowded. Smiley I haven't got names for my goldfish yet, but here they are:

The Red Fantail is a male, the Butterfly Moor is a female but I'm not sure about the Pearlscale. I have had them all for about 10 months now Smiley My new 200L fish tank is arriving on Friday so when I set that up I will take some photos of that and post them here. I will be having some Ranchus in the 200L. Smiley

Thanks everyone Smiley

I'm sorry for not being on here much recently, but my computer has been broken Roll Eyes Anyway it is fixed now. Unfortunately I have had some bad luck with my fish recently. My Butterfly moor had some bad swim bladder problems but I have now successfully treated that, and I have finally found some pellets that won't give it swimblader problems. My Pearlscale unfortunately died a few days ago. I think it had costia. I increased the temperature in the tank and had API aquarium salt in it, but I couldn't save it Cry I have now replaced it with another butterfly moor that only has one globe eye. It had been in the shop for months and no-one had bought it, obviously because it only had one globe eye, so I thought I would buy it if no-one else would. Smiley

In my new fish tank I now have 3 Ranchus, but unfortunately the third one must have been infected with Ich when I bought it, and now 2 of the Ranchus have white spots all over them. I put a treatment in the tank today so hopefully they should be OK Smiley

Well here are my new Ranchus and my new Butterfly Moor. The Ranchus have responded well to the treatment and the white spot on the fish is now gone. I am now continuing the treatment to eradicate any more eggs that may be present in the tank. Smiley

Its difficult to see the different eyes on the butterfly moor from the photos, but in my opinion she is a lovely fish.
