Petbarn and Petstock are very competitive, it is worth it to compare package deals. Some things are less expensive at Petbarn, others at Petstock ( talking about hardware, food and chemicals )
According to live fish I prefer to go to the small private owned ones first, second to Petstock. Our Petbarn unfortunately must have changed the mamagement and some staff and most times I look at their fish the poor things are not happy, some are sick or even dead floating in those tanks.
Another store I like to go to is Best Friends. Do you have that one in your area too? ( we live @ the Sunshine Coast, where about are you? )
Vipan Baby is made by Sera, found it at a private store, Liquifry I bought at PetStock. With this one you must have a look as one is for livebearers and the other one for hatched fry.
And of course all fish nibble on microorganisms, included the babies
