My goldfish are finally in their new tank. I made alot of rookie mistakes, but have really hit the books to redeem myself. They are full of energy and seem happy about their bigger place. But, they keep sitting in this one spot at the bottom. One will sit the others swim around and finally push it away and then another sits in that same spot! It's as if they're taking turns sitting there! If one takes too long to move the others will stare at it till it moves. It seems harmless, but ?? I confused. Should I worry??

Have you tested the water? Did you check pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? That's usually where the problem lies, and especially in a newly established system, you need to test it DAILY. Change about 30-50% of the water whenever ammonia shows up and add beneficial bacteria to the tank after every water change!

Of course, you need to be sure that the tank is big enough for the amount of fish you have, so... how big is the tank and how many fish do you have?
