Hello all,im a newbie here with one question for now. Could someone please tell me,at what age do'es a koi's barbels become visible or pronouced ? thanks uncle doug

Koi have them pretty clearly visible from baby size (meaning about 2 inches or more), you can also easily spot the difference between a common goldfish and a koi by looking at the body shape, the koi will be more round, like a torpedo, while a common will be a little flatter. Koi also have pretty wide heads and mouths compared to a goldfish Smiley
