Ok there Is probably another thread for this but I am in kind of a hurry! I got a new fish on Wednesday! I knew both my current fish were bullies so I took them both out of my main tank and put them in a separate tank that had been set up a while with filter and bubble ornament, whilst Merle settled in! After 24 hours I put flash back in the main tank as he was the most docile! Him and Merle were getting on fine and seemed really happy! I finally but Daryl back in last night and kept an eye on them for an hour! They were getting on well but I have woken up this morning and both Flash and Daryl keep chasing Merle around and attacking him! I don't know why I think Daryl is a bad influence! Does anyone know what I can do to stop then attacking him? Or should I just take Daryl out of the main tank? I thought that if Flash and Merle were ok then if Daryl tried anything they could put up a united front and he would stop but Flash has just completely turned coat! Please help me and Merle!   Sad

Man, this is always a problem because you never know if they'll keep doing it or if separation works Undecided However, I'd try separating one of the bullies in a plastic basket in the corner of the tank and see if that works. Did you check that there are no breeding tubercles visible on the "bullies"?

I can't see any breeding tubercles! I will put Daryl back in the other tank! Take him out of the equation for a while! Merle seems really scared of him! I haven't got a basket at the moment I will try and get one at the pet store! Thanks Nossie!

we did seperate the fish and have attempted to reintegrate them many times but always unsecsefully
