PANIC!
« on: March 13, 2011, 07:09:50 PM »

I just got a pet goldfish, and it was sucked up by the filter.  I managed to get it out, but now it seems as if its top lip has been torn off, and one of its gills is cocked very far out.  There was no blood, and the fish isn't swimming on its side or anything like that, but I can't tell if it's not eating because it can't, or because it's too traumatized to eat right now.

Do you think it can survive?!

Yes. Put something in the water to aid in his recovery, like Fish Protector.
Why did he get sucked up? Was he sick?
