I can imagine Jillyfish saying "It's alright Mum life goes on and I'm here to keep you happy."

She is so sweet and growing. My heart aches terribly for my adorable old boy more or less another day of sobbing. I am left wondering what to do with his tank. I guess it'll have to be dismantled, sterilized and start all over again to be safe. Jilly will do well for a month or 2 in the 10 gallon since I'm watching her water like a hawk.

Thanks sweetie I didn't anticipate it would hurt this much. I will talk with the manager of the fish dept. I met at petsmart. She is so kind even gave me her email so I could contact her over the weekend if I had any further concerns about Tailer while she is off. I sensed a true love of her job and real caring for sick animals. Will be hard to share the sad news.

And having little Jillyfish by your side will definitely keep your spirits up!

On the other hand, I know just what you've been through! It just had to happen to me twice, and I was devastated both times It does take time to get over those things, especially when you see how much the poor fish is suffering. But know that we're all here for you, whenever you'll want some support *hugs*

I really appreciate your support you caring lovely ladies ♥ The images of him being so physically damaged and suffering are haunting. I would like to remove the photos in this thread. I know Nossie when you lost Claymore and Hanna lost a few sweet tropicals, I cried every time I came on here and saw their gentle little faces  The tank will have to wait having slipped on the ice and wrenched my left shoulder *ugh - such a tool! Now I must go start teaching little 'J' about the birds and bees/fish Love to you all from me and 'the Jillybean' xo

Jilly has almost doubled in length since she came home with me. She's still a bit skittish but doing so well.  Love her and grateful she has swam into our hearts. Peace and happiness to you and yours too this coming New Year!

Aww thankies Hanna ♥  I had my avatar pic blown up (the one of Tailer looking directly into the camera) 12x18 inches - one of my faves ♥ He's up on the 'wall of fame' and amongst some of the beautiful places I've been to on recent photo shoots. I will try and get some more of Jilly to show her growth cheeky little tank monkey! Happy memories. Hope you are feeling well today.
