can you have too much aeration?

I've got quite a bit of bubbles happening now in the aquarium, and am wondering, is it possible to over aerate the tank?

Unless you would have the air stones allover the place so the fish have nowhere to chill d: But as long as they're in the back or so, there shouldn't be a problem.

It is important for the fish to have a "quiet" area to swim through as well, but to over aerate a tank, I do not believe this would be a problem, as I mentioned, give your fish a quiet space too, just imagine us humans to be in a spa all the time, we couldn't stand it either Wink

I'd want to be in the spa all the time.  Grin Just kidding. I think it'll be ok then, there are still large areas that aren't being bombarded by billions of bubbles.

yes, sure it will be ok, as goldfish cannot have to much oxygen, as you know they produce lots of waste. So good aeration and live plants are essential. And our fisshies need to have a place to rest, not being tickled all the time Grin by bubbles... even if they love to have a bubble-ride, lol
