Pet shops never cared much to keep the fish in their natural requirements, it's only a temporary stay. It's up to YOU who buy the fish to create a stable and healthy home for them.

for the 3 types of fish I would like they all say they like ph ranges from 6 to about 7.5 max  so 7 seems to be okay and I will be getting bog wood and making it in to suckerd bog wood so it sticks to the glass and will make it easy for me to clean underneath without having to remove much, and maybe some peat balls to lower the ph to below 7 as atm i have gravel and rocks in which is probs why I have a 7ph level, might post pics if i remember.
