Parasite ?

I have a goldfish that has a lump on its side, about 5mm diameter. It is body coloured i.e. red. The fish behaves as usual. Water quality is good. No problems with any other fish.
Could someone advise please

Lump on a goldfish could be either a tumor ( either benign or malignant) or it can be an indication of a parasitic infection. Have you introduced any new fish to the aquarium recently. If you could post a picture that would help greatly in diagnosing the fish's condition.
