I would be feeding her only veggies and live foods for a while actually... that usually clears out my fish! You could also try giving her a little bath in Epsom salts It works as a muscle relaxant and laxative on fish, so that might do the trick! Along with the special diet

But another red spot?? I am starting to get into a despair, really D: I have no idea what you could do about it that you haven't already tried! It just keeps coming back, and... that's so strange Maybe you should really try the antibiotic food for a week or two? In case there's something internal going on that you didn't manage to treat last time.

The thing is I barely feed either fish pellets anymore and I feed them the exact same thing, so why is Sunshine constipated and Clementine not? Well I guess that is obvious, same reason why some people get sick and others don't but still annoying!

It's just all a big worry! The red dot has gone which is good but why did it show up in the first place? Is there something still wrong with Sunshine inside like you suggested Nossie.

I'm just worried to try the anti-bacterial food as it has to be pellets and that might add to the constipation so I'm not sure what to do 

Also Sunshine's ventral  fin has not grown back, I can't even remember when it became like that and I've also noticed her pectoral fins are quite ragged, not white at the ends, just ragged like I said. I could try and get a photo but it's very hard, so I might look for one on google  I can't think of what to do about that, as it just seems that is the way it is now.

Not sure who else to turn to about this, maybe I could see if Aimee could ring that number she has mentioned before.

Oh and Hanna, with the antibiotic food, do you know if it is actually illegal to buy some over the internet and get it shipped to Australia? I imagine it is and it would be stopped at customs

No unfortunately I can't April Australia does not allow this food for some reason, I think Hanna knows a bit more why It would solve alot of problems if we could!

Oh and I am feeling much better now Not sure what it was, I think I may be very sensitive to potato as I've thrown up after it eating many times before

I think that they scan the packages and then open them if they seem suspicious. My boyfriend bought a plastic gun for one of his old super nintendos from America and it got stuck in customs for over a month lol. I think they might have thought it was a real gun in disguise

Water quality is fine so yeah something is definitely going on and was not totally killed with the last tetracycline treatment

Thanks for the links Abbie I'm just looking around that aquarium shop site now, as I don't think it's parasites, but bacterial as Nossie said, so I'll see if they have anything anti-bacterial. Though that garlic stuff may work. Might have to borrow some money and buy it tomorrow 

I think I'll try the soaking of the pellets for the next 5-7 days in the tetracycline. Where did you buy your antibiotic food from that time Nossie?? I remember you buying it online. But then it's the problems with customs and will I get in trouble for ordering it

The postage is heaps expensive though And like you said, it probably wouldn't get through customs and that would be a waste of money.

Hi fantailer Yes it has been awhile but didn't you notice the forum was down for ages?? But yes Sunshine is still constipated and still has ragged fins and now my filter is broken (hopefully that can be fixed!). This has been a horrible week and I think the world hates me 

I feel your pain, like I said in another thread, when it rains it pours.  Old saying but so true.  Seems like everything bad has to happen so we can see the good at the end.  I hope  Sunshine gets better soon!
