White spot on eyes of comet

Hi folks

I have recently moved my pond fish inside for this winter.   Two of my comets have perfect white spots on the middle of their eyes.  I never noticed it before, though I am not in the habit of making direct eye to eye contact with my fish everyday.

Can anybody help?

Does it look like a milky spot? Or does it make the pupil look blurred?
In that case it could be either a nutritional problem, or a sign of bad water quality or even infection, so if I was you, I'd test the water's pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, and perform a large water change of 50-70%! Please post numerical results of the tests as well!

Could be that they're not used to the "new" water when they're used to the one in the pond Smiley

I've seen this symptom in fish that are exposed to water that has high nitrate levels.
It would be a good idea to check the water quality like Nossie suggested. Smiley
