They might be you know. They have grown alot! I am slightly worried about Flash though as the other day his poop was green and almost runny, well at least it wasn't solid, so I cut back on the amount of veg they normally have this week but all he has done is strip all the plants in there. Which won't help get his poop back to normal. Will too much hurt him? I mean his behaviour is normal and he still eats but he has stripped 3 plants today. What should I do?

Flash is about 11 months, Merle is about 8 months, Logan and victor are about 5 months and Scarlett is about 3 months. That's going on the assumption that they were 2 months when I got them.

It's rather sad to think Lucky is older than Flash and Merle, assuming she was at least 2 months when I got her, she must be 12 months. A midget among fish!
How big were Flash and Merle when you first got them?

It's incredible how much they've grown, it just makes me realise how tiny Lucky really is, her growth is really not very good >.<

Today I went and bought a Hong Kong plec for my 60L and 2 sucking loaches for my 180L. Whilst we were there my partner noticed the price ticket on the tanks that has information about the different fish species said that comets, shubunkins and commons grow to 36cm which is just bigger than a normal ruler. I thought comets could gro to 2 feet? 1 foot for the body and 1 foot for the tail? Im sure 36cm is too small for the actual size they grow.

I'm sure when we looked comets up they said 2 foot altogether. My partner worked out sizes and said it was too small from what we had seen. Oh well. I still think putting 26cm is rather misleading as some people will only see the cms bit and think well that's small. They should at least put the size in inches. I am useless at Mathis and would just assume they won't grow big if I didn't know better. Anyway got some new additions currently in quarantine with my snails. Not very big tanks but it's only for a little while. I got two loaches for the 180L (tweedle dee and tweedle dum) and a butterfly plec for the 60L (Splodge). I was going to get three butterfly plecs but Flash and Merle can get a little aggresive at times (well its not aggresive but they can get a bit heated between the two of them if they think its mating season) so I thought loaches would be better, they are a little faster and grow a little bigger, so just thought they might be able to handle it better.

Yeah, my sailfin pleco turned out very cranky once he reached 6 inches. By the time he was 7", I decided to give him away to a pet shop

Yeah that's them. I will keep an eye, it said they were aggressive that's why I thought they would be better in with Flash and Merle. The other butterfly plecs I had were very passive and Flash actually killed one of them.

I have to admit my two are kinda whimpy. One of my apple snails just sent Tweedle dum into hiding. They are still young though so I will just have to wait and see what happens. If they become overly aggressive I will have to rehome them. The odds are I will have to rehome one of them.

I was really worried about my pleco at first because he couldn't get much food at all, the goldfish could just push him away. But after a few months and he had grown bigger, he started chasing the goldfish away from "his" corner of the bottom, which is where all their sinking food went.. he hurt Raven's fins really bad too

I've read that hillstream loach (a.k.a butterfly pleco) may defend territories, but generally are peaceful. I have considered getting hillstream loach, but I worry it would become territorial about the algae 'patch' at one end of the tank, which Lucky feeds on quite a bit. Well that and their high 02, high current needs.
I'm surprised one of the goldfish killed one of yours? That's rather surprising.... I never thought of goldfish as aggressive.

It was when Flash was in the 60L before I put him in the 180L he became rather aggressive because of the space issue.
