Just called the lady, we'll go there tommorrow morning 10am. GEEEEEE I AM SO EXCITED
And then to the petshop and then home, maybe some groceries for ourselves won't be a bad idea, as Monday is public holiday: Queens Birthday.
Sure I cannot sleep tonight, lol

Lol, Andrea, think she mentioned only one... but sometimes it is like being at the right place at the right time talking to the right people.
As I mentioned before, while I was paying for the fish food my hubby was talking to one of the girls there about our fish and she told us about that lady who wants to sell her tank, including her fish.
This buy wasn't planned at all. But because I am worried about Hump and Hep, we decided to get it for now. For the tropicals we arranged with the pet store, they'll take them.
So tomorrow there will be big cleaning day. Want to clean the gravel, filter, deco, so no bacteria from the tropicals can cause some illness to Hump and Hep. Then I'll set it up and let it cycle before moving our babies into it.

Geee this was heavy work to put the tank on the back seat in the car.... all tropicals are safe at the petstore and I had to fish out 2 loaches too, so hard to see in the gravel, especially if I never seen one before, lol. So they are fine at the petshop too.
So now there is a bit a work ahead, to get all clean. Brian wants to put a new bottom on the stand as it walked a bit and the lid needs a new piece of wood too and a few new hinges. But as we both are handyman and handywoman we'll be right.
The gravel I will use in the garden and get new one, and I will clean the tank with vinegar. Don't like to use chemicals. In about 3 week all should be fine.
The dimensions are 15x18x36 inch.
It has got an UG filter. I'd like to get a carbon filter too.

It is huuuuuge and my hubby and me can feel our backs now, lol.
Maybe 4 will fit in there? because we seen a sweet little creamy one a sweet black one. This would be it, no more people for this tank.

Loaches look like a long piece of gravel, dark greyish colour, bit freckled, about 3cm long and 7mm wide, they suck the algae off the gravel and the tank, but they are not compatible with goldies.
Very hard to see if you never had before.
Maybe at your next visit to the petshop just have a look.

112 gallons would be huge o_O 424 liters
That's pretty awesome. But if it's a 42 gallon, you could fit 4 fish in there, I think (:
Oh, btw, just in case, since my new tank would be an 83 gallon, I was planning to keep "only" 7 fish in it. Considering the fact that Orandas need lots of space (: But IF, I happened to find another little moor for Popo to be friends with... would it be alright with an 8th fish?
(I have troubles pronouncing "eighth" irl, lol.)

Yeah should be OK.
Seen that little cream one and a lovely black one, go back tomorrow to buy if possible but they must keep them there until we are ready: Snowwhite and Prince Charming or Sahnehaeubchen and Kaffeebohne, LOL, need to think about names..... lol
I am going nuts

Yeah, Hanna LOL! I was wondering how the heck you could fit a 112 gallon tank in the back seat of a car.
I thought boy you must have a huge car. Maybe in Australia they call vans cars.
Nossie the biggest thing with overcrowding is keeping the nitrates levels down. Which overtime will build up considerably. Goldfish, especially the fancier kind can get nitrate poisoning with high levels. Filters, no matter how big do not filter out nitrates. That is something you have to do with water changes. I guess the thing to consider is how often do you want to do water changes when stocking your tank.

You have bright and healthy fish. I think it's keen that your fish are curious and interested in you.
Nice job!
