After a bit of a delay and confusion, my Chi is finally here, just needs fish
I'm planning to get a betta and a few cardinal tetras

It's a 5 gal. Made a top for it today as our kitty enjoys it as much as I do
I'm amazed at how quiet it is, we'll probably end up with at least one more, lol! Here's a pic of the top:

Fluval is just coming out with a lid for it. They had a problem with bettas jumping out of them.
The tanks are nice but the filters aren't that great so make sure not to overload it.

Actually, now that I re-read the post, I doubt Cardinal tetras would feel too good in there.
They live in very soft water and need to be at least 7-10 fish in a shoal, I think that would definitely overload the tank along with the betta... :/ 5 gallons is barely big enough for a single betta!
Cardinal tetras also want warm water and it should be prepared according to the sour/soft waters they come from for them to show their full colors.
