Snail sexes?

Ok this is probably a long shot but does anybody know gow too gender apple snails? I have two and they tend to stay at opposite ends of the tank! I have only had them a few days and are a wonderful addition to the tank, that said I don't really want a load more! Mainly as my mum would kill me and the tank would be over crowded! So does anyone here that has snails know or would I have to ask a specialist?

Don't worry, Apple Snails don't breed that rapidly in captivity; Also, they lay their eggs above the water-line, so you can just remove them!

I would like to know how as well! Not that I'm concerned about breeding, it's more that I want everyone to have appropriate names! Cheesy
