I made my life way easier this week by buying 20' of plastic tubing and attaching to my siphon, drag the end outside and let the water run into the yard. Very handy for changing tons of water.

All it takes is a little practice Smiley (After 10 years, you're bound to get it going xD)

cheri: I was thinking something similar would be good! Only I'd attach my hose to the shower or something, but then again, my siphon doesn't want to draw the slightly bigger pieces of debris out, like dead leaves, because it has a safety grid about 15-20cm up in the cylinder, so I'd need a bucket still to get rid of the stuff into >>

Nice idea Cheri, I have a few 20ltr buckets to syphon into, cause we are a dry place I use the old water for my plants and bonsai, they love it, and it keeps them looking healthy... and hehe, Nossie "queen of gravity" and "crazy fish lady" (no offence intented)... I tried it out with my syphon and it worked easy, thanks for the tip. Cheers
