THE REST OF THE GANG
« on: October 18, 2010, 10:33:44 AM »

 Smiley  Hello,

This am I became motivated to take a few pix of my tanks.
And Nossie here are some Blueberry shots for you!! Wink

Also the picture titled Smidget and Nymph lets you see how tiny poor Smidget is...aka the goldfish that will not grow. Cheesy  Oh well he's so darn cute and we love him to bits anyway! Grin

Blueberry is beautiful! She's grown so much! Smiley Exactly how long have you had her now?
Your tropical tank looks really peaceful and nice Smiley Loving the beach look! What kind of fish do you have there? Smiley

When I saw Smidget and how tiny he is I melted :'D He's so cute!

Gosh when did I get Blueberry?  This summer?  I can't remember.
Yes, she has grown!!  She is so cute, my big fat round ball. Cheesy

Tropical tank has one gourami, a few zebra danios, 1 pleco and 1 pictus catfish.
I know the pleco will grow big but gosh I love those prehistoric looking creatures.
The Danios drive me nuts they zip so fast in hyper drive around the tank...back and forth...gee they make me dizzy! LOL! Shocked
I love my gourami, got him when he was just a baby...he's so cute and friendly.  Always has food on his mind.  Wink
The pictus catfish is so silvery and gorgeous with his blk spots...he glides through the water.  I love him! Cheesy

Wow, blueberry sure has grown!! Not a tiny little baby anymore, still gorgeous though. Both tanks look so nice, I want a bigger tank now lol  Cheesy

But oh my gosh, Smidget is teeny tiny!! Haha aw so cute, what are his actual measurements? You can barely see him his so small. I really wasn't expecting him to be that small haha.

I can understand your interest in pleco's, I know a guy with one and they are amazing! His is very well look after but grew sort of slow so you have time until you may have to upgrade. How big is the tropical tank?

Hi Andrea,
Yeah, LOL Smidget sure is tiny.  I don't think he is even an inch and never grew at all.
Maybe I could put him in the guiness book of records as being the smallest goldfish in the world ...hahha Cheesy
He is a fiesty little thing and he fights for the food right along side the big guys! Wink  Sometimes when I turn the lights on in the am I can't see him right away and have to really search the tank to see if he's still there.  I hope the fish don't think he is lunch someday as they outgrow him!! Shocked
Oh gosh I love those plecos and catfish.  Smiley   The pleco looks kinda like the alligator of the tank even tho he is still small, 2 inches I think.   The tank is only a 20 gallon.  Boy I sure would like something bigger for the tropicals! Undecided

He already looks like he could me mistaken for food haha! Very cute Cheesy My tank is oppostie my bed and there is one spot Sunshine can go where I can't see her because of the angle, well it scared me the first time that happened. I jumped off my bed to have a look!

Hmm I'm just trying to think what size tank my friend has, I think it may be 40-60 gallon but I have never asked so I'm just guessing based on mine. I reckon you could get away with it for awhile, they don't move much like goldfish Tongue
