Orandas in Ponds

Can orandas live in ponds?I have two comets, one common, one shubunkin, one fantail goldfish, and two native sunfish. The native sunfish won't harm the fish. They don't even harm my fantail half there size. If anyone would tell me. It would be great help.

Yeah. Jusrt make sure the comets and commons won't beat them to the food.

All fancy varieties are not ideal in ponds. Especially if it comes to winter time and cold temeratures, fancy varieties should  be taken in as they are sensitive to cold.

The single tail goldfish is THE pond fish, speak common, comet, shubunkin.
And of course the Koi.

Be carefull with overfeeding though. How much is "enough food for everyone" ?

Because the fantail is the ONLY one of the twin- or double tailed variety which IS adaptable to pond life. (...and "adaptable" isn't  ideal )

But you asked about Orandas, right?

Fancy goldfish (orandas and fantails) can also get fin rot and swim bladder problems if you leave them out during the winter. But it shouldn't be a problem to keep them in ponds over summer Smiley Just be sure not to overcrowd!! You know how to calculate the proper stocking level for a pond, right?
