Hey. New to the forum. I am very interested in the fancy goldfish.....especially Orandas and Ranchu.
I have managed to find a few orandas here in georgia but have been unable to located any ranchu.
I've looked at ordering them on-line but the shipping makes them too expensive for me to buy.
I am not looking for large ones. Would like to have some 21/2-3 inch ones. Does anyone have any
info on places to purchase these in georgia. Thanks for any help that you might be able to provide.

You can try Petland stores if there is one near you. Give them a call first before you go to make sure they have them in stock.
If you can wait a few months, there is an upcoming Goldfish show in Atlanta where breeders will show up to sell goldfish, though the prices will be higher than a typical pet store because these are very high quality goldfish.

They have two goldfish & koi shows you can go to in Georgia each year where you can buy the harder to find goldfish breeds.

Other than that, you can try various local pet stores near you , maybe you can find the ones you want. Petsmart often has Orandas.

I would also try small exotics stores. Thats where I got my ranchu, two fantails and black moor.
