Cloudy Water?

Hey Everyone,
I am getting back into goldfish, and have set up a new 27gallon tank, outfit with a Penguin Bio-wheel 150 filter, airstones, and a heater.  I had it set up for a few days to get the temperature etc stabilized before I had the opportunity to go out and buy fish.  I then added 3 small lionheads to the tank, and by the end of the day, the water had turned cloudy white, or kind of foggy looking.  Does anyone know the reason for the rapid colour change of the water, and is this going to be harmful to the fish?

how long had ur tank been set up before you placed the fish in the tank?
this is normal if jsut recently set up. let the filter o its job but if continuies to be cloudy try getting some charcol and place in ur filter should help in a few days. also dont over feed it makes the water cloudy also.

The tank had only been setup for about 3 days before I added the fish.  The water was clear until I added them, then about 6 hours later after I added the 3 goldfish, the water turned cloudy.  I had not fed them anything at all at that point, so I don't think overfeeding was an issue!
