It sounds like a swim bladder issue. My suggestions would be to treat with Pimafix or another antibacterial fish medicine (check your local pet store with a fish department for details) and feed them peas for awhile. Since this has been going on for a few days, I reccomend that you treat them immediately.

Test the water first, looking for nitrates, as these could be the main reason for the swim bladder disease! However, there's no doubt that swim bladder disorder is the problem.
Treat it immediately by not feeding your fish for about 3 days and then give them frozen, shelled peas. Simply, natural frozen peas that you thaw and pop out of their shells before feeding them to your fish. Next step is to treat the water with some salt, read on the package how to dose it (and make sure that it's salt meant to treat sick fish). Add some kind of antibiotic as well, just ask in your pet shop what'd be most suitable!
But I think that if there's a few of your fish suffering from this at once, it could be a dietary problem, and that's why it's good not to feed them for a couple of days and then give them peas, to be certain that this is the cause.

i live in ontario canada. yes i can get all the meds i needs for my gold fish. i just have never heard of a vet that would try and help out a goldfish worth around 10$. i asked a vet once and he laughed at in. they are all in it for the money around here. if i go to the local fish stores they will try and help out if u get the right person. but like i said they are mostly for saltwater only and pond fish that is where the money is. anyway my fish look a little better now. i have also being keeping the light off for less stress and cleaning the bottom of the tank every day. my water is fine. the only problem i have with the water is it can get a little hard but i have someing for that.

Hi Andrea
Peas and other vegetables provide goldfish with additional nutrients sometime that are lacking in store bought fish food (pellets, flakes, etc.) The vitamins in these commercially packaged fish food will slowly degrade over time. Imagine if children and adults are forced to eat only canned food everyday. They wouldn't look healthy at all.
Peas will also help the fish's digestive system and perhaps even reverse swim bladder related problems.

Hi Andrea, Peas don't ONLY provide additional nutrients, but they also clean out the digestive tract, this is why it is recommended to feed peas at least once a week.... this reminds me I need to buy frozen peas again.... In case of constipation peas help to get back to normal.
Jordan, as Nossie asked, how are your water parameters? Please test for: Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, pH.
If there is an infection present you shoud think about treating with Melafix/Pimafix or in case the infection is more severe you will need to get antibiotics.
