I have 4 shubunkins 2 are 5 years old and 15"-18" the other 2 are 3 years old 10"-12". I have a fan tail gold fish that is also 3 years old he is in the 8 " range and I added a couple of new koi fish this year as well as a turtle to our pond. I bough all of them from the sam place I have bought all of my fish. recently we have had some very hot days and the older fish have been very listless fins down laying on the botom of the pond. I gave dome water changes they seem to enjoy this until I am done. I added two more pumps to the water breaking the surface to introduce more oxygeninto the pond. still no change i decided today to bring them in and put them into the aquarium. all but the 2 new fish are very red in color like bloody almost coming off of the fins. Is this due to heat? Any suggestions?

I would agree with Hanna, take them inside and look at them closely! In meantime, maybe you would want to increase the rate of water changes? But only after testing the water Please post the results asap, and a photo of your fish if possible

But hey, for next time, buy yourself a test kit for your pond! You only need tests for pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrates. They're not too expensive, and you can use them for a long time, it'll definitely be worth it, since the first thing you should ever do when your fish are acting weird, is to test the water!
