Some of my favorite fish......

The first picture is of Zippy.  He is over 10 years old.
The second picture is of Biggie, he is also 10 years old.
The third picture is of Comet and he too is 10 years old.
All of them were 10 cent feeder fish!  Smiley
The last is of a wee shubunkin I just got and added to the tank.

Your goldfishes are pretty. I like your tank setup too.  The water is so clean and crystal clear.  Smiley

How beautiful! The dark blue in the background makes such a great contrast to your fish (:
And it's awesome how yours seem to be posing in front of the camera, mine are always fluttering about, making it impossible to take any photo that isn't blurry xD

But what are those light purple strings?

Love your decorations.  The plants and the lighting really brings out the fish's  beautiful colors.

But what are those light purple strings?

The "purple strings" are just the bubbles from the bubble wand that is attached to the back of the inside of the tank.  It makes a lovely bubble curtain in the tank. Grin

Love it! i have a bubbler that lights up pretty... ^^ and your fish are absolutely adorable too! Im really jealous right now ahahahaha

I can't bring myself to feed any goldfish to other fish. Glad you didn't. Look how cute they grew up to be.

You mentioned going to a fish farm!!  I would LOVE to go pick out a fish at a fish farm...or even to go visit one would be so very cool! Cool

Maybe google for a fish farm in your area. The one I went to is far almost 2 hour drive to get there so we do it only once a while. The panda I got from there. I named him Kungfu Panda. Sure eat a lot too but know no kungfu. Though once a while I turned and look real fast I swear he was  doing something...

WARNING:

If you drool at the fish I have, fish farm will make you want to jump in and swim with the fish. So many selection. We are still wanting to come back and get a calico celestial since we already got a yellow celestial.

Well, I think the only fish farms in Michigan are for trout and salmon! LOL!
Yeah you're right I probably would want to jump into the ponds with the fish.
well maybe someday I'll have to take a little trip down to the southern states.

The only fish farms I know of are in Newfoundland... and thats all the way over there...  Roll Eyes   and their alll cod and atlantic salmon... still pretty, but more for eatability than for pets... Tongue

awww, I forgot it might be cold where you are to have a fish farm. The one I go to from time to time since I found out about it a month ago is like way south in Florida and it's like out on a farm. Make me wish I had a pond. One day.

Im definitely gonna make a pond. buy a house with a big basement... get a giant pool adn fill it with water. and then dump fish in it <3
