NEW FISHES

Hello everybody,
introducing our new platies:

Ginger: yellow Comet Platy with black edges on the tailfin
Flaekki: Calico Platy  (... Nossie, I had to "steal" the name  Grin, love it )
Dot: the blue, red Sail Fin Platy with black dots
Horny: the red Platy with black tail (... Horny little devil... lol)
Bumble Bee: the yellow, black, red Bumble Bee Platy
Tiger: the white and red TIger Platy  ( Kat, had to steal this name too, lol )

They are in the small 20 l quarantine tank for 2 weeks before I will move them to the big tank

Thank you Andrea and Nossie, We love them all, when we seen them in the shop we just fell in love with them. Came home with 6 bags, had to float them 2 at the time because the tank lid is not that wide.
They stil are a bit shy when I approach the tank but not that much like yesterday.  Smiley

The yellow one is Ginger, she soon will have babies too  Grin
The striped one is Tiger and Dot is the one with the big dorsal fin.

well, the fish store said we can trade the babies back in for other fishes or things, lol.
You know female livebearers they can store the males sperm for months and when they feel right they pop the babies, lol

yes we love our fishies, all come to the front of their tanks now and hubby counted at least 20 (!) babies  Grin

Yes, HORNY must be horny he's chasing Ginger hahahaha

I never was fond of platies, I don't know why but I do like the red tailed speckled one! Wink
I love that big stump decoration.  I can see your fish must love that as a swim through hide away. Cheesy

They are in the big tank now, and this tank is Barbarossas new home. He loves the stump, swims through too and sometimes sits on the top as if he's telling us: "I'm the king here and this is my castle"

My bettas just are each in their own bowl but each have a plant and a vintage decoration of some sort.
They love to swim and hide in those. Wink
