Hello all!

I have a 91 gallon pond that is one year old. I chose to not place fish in my pond at set-up because I wanted the pond to get "established". I have had aquariums in various sizes for years now, but none have ever housed goldfish. Now, here comes my question: How many Comets/Shubunkin are recommended for my small pond? I was thinking two or three, does that sound about right? I'm looking to add these guys towards the end of April into May, as I'm in Ohio and am looking for a more steady "warm" weather pattern. The pond has a filter (rated for a 500 gallon pond), oxygenator plants, as well as plants for shade. So looking forward to add some fish to complete my little oasis.

Ponds work a bit differently when calculating the stocking levels. You calculate the amount of fish possible to keep according to the surface area. Three of them should fit just perfectly, I'd say you could add a few more, depending if you'll have a filter or not
