swimming around but act like blind

I have 8 fish in a 150 gal tank .No idea what kind of gold fish thease are I bought them as like feeder fish. I have one that is like a torpedo in the tank going back and forth hitting the sides of the tank. Its eyes look as tho its blind is this possable?? it also has like a slime on its body . could this be what they call ick?Huh

I dont think the slime is ick, icks other name is white spot and it looks like the fish has been sprinkled with sugar or salt... also you should read the "sticky" at the top of this forum list about posting a health issue.. you will get a better quality of answer and people are more willing to help you and your fish if you provide a bit more detail about your water parameters like the PH, ammonia levels, nitrates and nitrites etc.. and your fish may not be blind (are it eyes clear or cloudy?) it may be flashing about reacting to issues with your water quality. cheers > Ron

Is your fish's fins rotting of because sometimes they get the slime when they have fin rot.

also you could check this sites page on fish disease's, I am sure it mentions a Slime Disease somewhere...

Sounds like fungus and cloudy-eye to me. Like Ron said, test the water...you probably have an ammonia or nitrite problem in there causing your fish to "flash"...

Maybe he meant a 150 liter? It's so easy to make that mistake...
Sounds like this person has his first fish (considering that he/she doesn't know what ich looks like, and most first-time fish keepers LOVE labeling everything as ich...), and a 150 gallon tank sounds pretty unlikely in that case.

Anyway, the goldfish will produce extra slimecoat when there's something irritating their skin, most commonly, the water itself (Could also be parasites, but water should always be considered and repaired first hand!!). I would buy a test kit and check the water quality right away! Look at pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.
Should anything seem off, carry out a large water change on about 50-75%!

Thank you Ron, recovery is very slow and painful but each day I make more progress. Hope to be back to normal in a month or so. And yes, 8 fish in a 150 gallon tank? You could easily fit 7 more in something that big! That would be MY DREAM TANK.  Shocked When I get my own house I want a whole room just for fish. <3

150 litre sounds about right, Nossie... imagine doing a half or 3/4 water change on 150 gal tank, which I think is approx 600 ltrs... your arms would get quite a work out with all those buckets of water...
A whole room just for fish would be nice... I once went to a meeting at a snakecatchers house, one whole wall and a quarter of his lounge was one big aquarium type set up with a 14 foot python in it, the whole time it was slowly consuming a recently deceased chicken, it was pretty freaky... like I said fish would be nicer... cheers all > Ron

Is a 200 gallon tropical rainforest tank with Matamatas, lizards, bearded dragons, iguanas, rainbow pond turtles, a baby alligator, pythons, rat snakes, mambas and cobra.

You're brave!  There's no way I would want a cobra in my home.  I saw one in Sri Lanka once- the guy pulled it out of a basket, all black and limp.  I thought it was a rubber snake, then suddenly- FSSSS!- up it sprang!  It kept trying to bite the guy, but he rolled the lid of the basket back and forth in front of the snake so it couldn't get a good shot.  Nearly piddled myself.
