Is there a problem with my fishies?
« on: August 21, 2010, 03:23:18 PM »

Ive just bought my goldfish today.    ;DIm trying 2 make sure there is nothing wrong with them. Embarrassed
Are these normal things or are they a sign? Undecided

1. Tiki has a black tail and has a lighter body colour. Cheesy
2. Pearl is a deep orange and has a whitish silvery fins, tail and muzzle. Cheesy
3. They jostle eachother and always stay close together. Are they frightened? Cheesy
4. I have a filter, but they are frightened of it do that is the answer to q4. I turned it off and now they are fine and exploring a bit more in the new aquarium.   Smiley[]

P.S My sister is a bit of a tearaway...... Smiley
PP.S Is this normal? Shocked

Never turn the filter off for longer periods. Especially if you keep goldfish. At most you should unplug it when maintaining the tank!
Otherwise, they sound like healthy and happy fish Smiley But please, leave them alone for a few days as they are probably uncomfortable in their new home for now!

Now I am! Grin
Lol, but even if I'm not, you can just go ahead and post any questions, and me, or anyone else will get to answering them as soon as we'll notice Smiley
