aw man saw the biggest friggin Oranda today at the petstore!!! oh he was a monster! I'd say he was a little bigger than Thor, Minde, he was just HUGE

Orange, just a pretty pretty orange with a well developed wen. some streaks of black, some black spots, I wasnt sure if they were burns or just spots

No, sorry, misstyped, LOL as we figured it out it is about 42 gallons which should be about 150 litres.
The stand is black but needs some work, we will spary it chocolate brown to match our other furniture.
The tank has got some nice aluminium edges to blend over where it is glued together. But needs cleaning.

He/she was in with the comets, but a lovely creamish white and there also was a blackish one.... fell in love with them, lol

Wow! Hanna!  Sounds like you found a vintage treasure!  Does the tank have a slate bottom or glass?  the older ones had slate bottoms.   Those vintage metal framed tanks are worth alot of $$$$! Shocked

No Minde, it is glass, as far as I've seen it. It is old, but not that old. Today is big cleaning day, coudn't do it yesterday, my old back was playing up after lifting it in and out of the car,  Grin

Today we go back to the petstore. I was talking about those new fish we've seen yesterday that i fell in love with them and there may be a chance that they will keep them for us.....
Then we go to Bunnings, get 2 pieces of wood to fix the stand and the hood
