Is it okay to use the bio wheel from a saltwater tank to a goldfish tank?

Sure, i don't see a problem with using the filter including the bio wheel that came from a saltwater tank for your goldfish tank. Just make sure you clean the filter thoroughly before reusing it since a lot of sea salt , sand and other stuff can build up in the filter over time.  The filter cartridge that attaches to the bio wheel  assembly will eventually get  dirty over time and it has to be  replaced. I suggest you just replace that filter on the bio wheel with a fresh one and you should be ready to go.

... and if you use it after all is cleaned, make sure that the cycle is ok before adding your fishes. Give the beneficial bacteria time to build again.

As you know, goldies are freshwater fish and salt should be used only for treatment, maybe you read the post "SALT for FRESHWATER FISH like GOLDFISH" in "General Discussion"
