Something I was contemplating today, I was playing some piano classical type music this afternoon, half hoping by some miracle of a chance it would calm down Lucky who is having a hard time with the tank cycling, poor little guy.

So I wondered, has anyone found that their fish respond to music?
Goldfish have good hearing and obviously feel the vibrations, but it made me curious about whether they responded to certain types of music?

Of course I'm not sure how loud something would need to be played for them to hear it in the water? I'm not even sure my music was loud enough earlier for Lucky to hear, but I thought it would be interesting nonetheless to hear what you guys thought

My Ryukin hide quickly if I play Wagner lol, but they seem to like to watch the telly (shrugs)

Really? Hmmm maybe they like the pictures and sound ^_^ As I believe Goldfish can see in techni colour can't they?

Mine liked to watch Cartoon Network and the Discovery Channel (as long as it wasn't Shark Week!).  They also seem to like watching my baby (and he likes watching them), as long as he isn't too loud.  As I write this, they look like they're watching the news with me...
