Haha yes I'd hope I could get enough within 7 years
I'm thinking it'll take around 2 - 3 years to get enough money.
I'm thinking about picking up some driftwood soon and letting it soak in a bucket, so it'll be ready to go straight into the tank.
I have an old tooth brush that's tank exclusive, so that should do the job?
Then I think I'll get the plants and quarantine those while the tank is cycling, will they be okay to quarantine in a bucket? Do I need to do anything special or just leave them in the water?
Only I'd like plants and drifwood to be in the tank, before Lucky goes in. Just incase she is a little freaked out, she'll at least have something in the tank with her.
I'm thinking java fern, java moss and maybe anubais on drift wood and then I'd quite like a tall grass type plant to go along the back and hide things and then maybe something shorter at the front. Then use your tip I read somewhere of putting bigger rocks around plants in the gravel so they don't get dug up
(Hence my other thread about pebbles).
Then the two internal filters should be fine for just one goldfish
And I'm also planning on grabbing my old mirror when I go home, it's a little one on a wooden stand, so I'm sure I can find someway of having it next to the aquarium for little Lucky.
