Yep, you are so right there, lol, and guess when they did it again today, I had to yawn, hahahaha

Anyway, when I returned from a looooooong working day today, they must have heard or felt the garage door going up, because when I approached the tank Humphrey and Hepsiba swam up in the corner paddling with their fins where I put the food in. And their little mouths opening and closing. I felt like I need to give them a little kiss, lol.
After a couple of minutes the food was gone and they started to vacuum the gravel....

As far as I know, snails can easily be kept with goldfish (unless they get eaten...), but if you're afraid they might carry some disease, or if you simply don't want them for cosmetic reasons, you could try and remove them (:
Their eggs usually look like little streaks of slime on the under side of leaves, so it might be good looking a little closer for this! The eggs can actually be anywhere, like on the filter or on the glass too if the snails have gotten to be around for a while. I also found a tip about how to remove snails that are already hatched. You could place a saucer upside-down on the bottom of the tank with a piece of cucumber under it, make sure to put some rocks or something to hold the saucer up (: Keep this in the tank over night, and just take the saucer out along with the snails stuck on it d: I didn't try it myself, but... xD

Who knows? Those snails are really tricky things. We had them in our aquarium at one point, and it took almost forever to get rid of all of them because their eggs were on the hidden places of the filter, in the grovel, in decorations on plants on glass... everywhere! But then there were also a few showing up here and there (:

Humphrey and Hepsiba wiggel arround themselves most the times. Not always as they find themselves busy in re arranging the gravel layer or digging the Elodea out of the gravel or simply vacuuming all stones, lol.

Well I cannot see any signs of tubercules and stil try to recognise a difference in their vent, but they just do not "swimm still" when I am in front of the aquarium trying to figure out, LOL

But may be they are too young to be fertile yet
