Teetsy and Momos New Home

We were up until 2:30 last night making sure everything was perfect. Our little darlings are so happy in their huge tank. They looked so big in the 5 gallon and now they look so small. I'm not that happy with the black background as it's hard to see Teetsy due to her coloring, but I'm on the quest to find an awesome background that will make her "pop"

Yes their in there.....keep looking......PSYCH. No their not. I thought I took one with them, but I'm going to do it now the tank is 60 gallons and it was a deal. My honey and I are already looking for our newest edition. we both want a Ranchu. What do you think the maximum amount I can get for a 60 gallon. I was thinking 5.
Okay, I just took this picture. You would think they have a great big tank and all they do is hang around up top or in just one corner. They're such little boogers.

WOW, AWWWWWW, they are really so cute.
In time to come I'd stock up to 5 but slowly so the filter can cope with the bioload.
CONGRATS, all looks just beautiful

How lovely
I love the color of the gravel
You could definitely go for six, but wait with adding another fish until it's cycled with these two "new" ones

SO CUTE! I love love love the set up... Im actually really jealous. XD you did an awesome job!
As to making your little fish stand out in there, I think a blue background would work, as not many goldfish are a bright blue XD
and they look so so so tiny!!! TINY!! THEYRE LITTLE!! X3

I put the black background up because I felt the blue on the other side was to "pet shop" looking. The blue I had on the 5 gallon is too narrow, so I'm on a quest to find another blue that has some depth to it. Thanks for the compliments on the tank. My honey picked out the colors and set everything up. Since I'm short and I have short arms, I couldn't reach the bottom of the tank, even while standing on a chair.
. I'm so glad my honey is tall with long arms.
I'm not planning on another one for a good bit, as I really would like the tank to cycle with these two. I did put my old filter media (which was starting to look yucky...I take that as a good sign) from the 5 gallon and I put it in this filter. I also have a pile of gravel from other well established tanks in a knee high which is hidden behind the statue, so hopefully it will start to cycle. The water is starting to get a tad cloudy and the water parameters for everything is 0 and my ph is 7.0, so I'm sure that's just the beginning of the cycling process.

On my tank I have a gradient blue background, the upper half is brighter and the lower part is darker
I thought something simple like that would bring out the colors of my goldfish and the decoration items and plants

Yea.. I wanted to make my own background, but I realized something ---- Im way too lazy XD
yea a blue with some depth to it would be ideal, as it would simulate an ocean or reef XD just dont get bright blue fish. you'll never find them again XD
